Personal data policy

General information

The term “personal data” refers to all forms of information that can be attributed to you in any shape or form. When you use our website, we collect and process a variety of such information. Data are collected, for example, when you interact normally with our website, when you subscribe for our newsletter, fill in a contact form or use any of the other services made available through our website.

We typically collect and process the following types of information: unique ID, technical information about your computer, tablet or smartphone, your IP number, geographical location and which pages you visit. If you give your explicit consent and/or enter the information yourself, we also process your name, phone number and email address – usually in connection with your subscribing for our newsletter or filling in our contact form.

Security

We process your personal data securely, confidentially and in full compliance with the applicable legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act (databeskyttelsesloven).

Your information will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected, and it will be deleted once this purpose has been fulfilled or is no longer relevant.

We have implemented technical and organisational measures to prevent your information being accidentally or unlawfully deleted, published, lost or depreciated, becoming known to non-authorised parties, being abused or otherwise processed contrary to the prevailing legislation.

Purpose
The information is used to identify you as a user and present you with the advertisements considered most relevant to you, as well as to provide you with services such as newsletters. We also use the information to improve and optimise our services and content.

Duration of storage
We store information for the period permitted in the appropriate legislation, and we delete it once it is no longer necessary or relevant. The actual length of this period depends on the nature of the information and the basis for its storage. It is therefore not possible to state a general timeframe for when information will be deleted.

Sharing information

Data concerning your use of the website, which advertisements you receive and – possibly – click, geographical location, etc. are shared with third parties to the extent the information is known and in the event it is relevant to these third parties. To check which third parties are involved, see the Cookies Declaration section above. The information is used for targeted advertising.

We also commission a number of third parties to assist with data storage and processing. These parties only process information on our behalf, and they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Personal information such as your name, email address and the like will only be shared to the extent you specifically consent to this. We work exclusively with data processors within the EU or in countries that can ensure that your information is accorded satisfactory protection.

You are entitled to receive information regarding the personal data we process about you in a standard format (data portability). In addition, you may object at any time to the information being used. You may also withdraw your consent to having information about you processed. If the information about you that is being processed is incorrect, you are entitled to have it corrected or deleted. Please address any enquiries in this regard to fp@furnipart.com.

If you wish to complain about our processing of your personal data, you also have the option of contacting the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
